Dear Geometry Lovers,

The “Iranian Geometry Olympiad (IGO)”  was launched in the summer of 2014 by a group of Mathematics Olympiad teachers in Iran. After eight consecutive years of running IGO, it is now held annually in many countries with the participation of students of grades 7-12, and geometry enthusiasts from all over the world.

This competition brings students enthusiasm every year, allowing them to engage with other students and instructors passionate about geometry. We believe that IGO has found its place in improving geometry in the high school curriculum, and has gradually improved to advance its goals.

However, all of this has been done voluntarily and with personal expenses by our activists and olympiad teachers in Iran. IGO is not a for-profit organization. As we have expanded our costs have also grown and to keep the IGO sustainable, we are trying raise funds different sources to help us cover our costs. This year we are asking participants to contribute a small amount of money so that we will be able to invite as many students as possible to join IGO and enjoy a top international Geometry Olympiad.

Therefore, We are asking all Geometry enthusiasts all over the world to support IGO by donating a small amount of money. This will help us to cover the costs of IGO (such as problem designing sessions, scientific committee costs, offering scientific camps,  generating educational content, organizing the IGO competition, etc.)

Please note that the holder of the account is one of the members of the IGO organizing committee. Also, note that in the process of payment write exactly “Competition2023-Donation” in the field “Please describe in details which services or goods you have purchased from the vendor”.
